How to set up basic notifications

Before you begin

  • Owners, admins, and users can set up basic notifications for their event types.
  • Legacy Essentials plan users can only use default email notifications.

Enable or disable basic notifications

  1. Go to Scheduling and select the event type you want to edit.
  2. Select More options at the bottom.
  3. Open the Notifications and automations section.
  4. Find the notification you want to update, then select the  14146649319831 three dots next to it.
  5. Toggle the notification On or Off.
  6. Select Save changes.

Personalize email and text notifications

If you're on the Standard plan or higher, you can customize:

  • The subject line of a basic email notification
  • The body of a basic email or text message
  • The dynamic variables used in a message

To edit a notification message:

  1. Go to Scheduling and select the event type you want to edit.
  2. Select More options at the bottom.
  3. Open the Notifications and automations section.
  4. Find the notification you want to update, select the 14146649319831 three dots next to it, then select Edit,
  5. Update the message subject or body as needed.
  6. Select Save and close.
